The 1st part of the unit on Jesus takes up the topic of Jesus and the Good News of the Reign of God and the way Jesus promotes that through his word - his teachings and his parables. The 2nd part concentrates on how Jesus promotes the Reign of God through his action - his works of mercy and his miracles. In the 3rd part, we reflect on how Jesus entrusts his disciples with his mission. The community of the Risen Christ is called to reveal the Reign of God and so continue the ministry of Jesus down through the years. The other two units are being completed. Background study and research All that we offer is enriched by our regular participation in international reflections and studies on relevant topics. These studies have included Solidarity, Alternative Globalization, Spirituality of Communion, The Signs of the Times and Towards a New Image of the Church. |
